L'exploitation des ressources naturelles est au centre de cet atelier, initié par le WWF. Préparatifs à la 6e Conférence du Forum Chine Afrique (FOCAC)

Jusqu'au 3 avril, l'Institut français accueille donc les différentes parties prenantes visant une exploitation responsable des ressources. Le but est " de partager les recommandations du WWF (...) en vue d'enrichir la proposition du Gabon aux travaux du FOCAC 6". L'ambition serait de contribuer à la formulation d'une stratégie entre l'Afrique et la Chine, entre autres sur le sujet du développement durable. Certains points pourront ainsi faire l'objet de collaborations bilatérales. Et l'on parle aussi d'une possible inclusion de la société civile (ONG) au forum, prévu courant 2015, en Afrique du Sud.

Ce matin, les échanges auront lieu avec les administrations techniques. La consultation des partenaires au développement et une conférence de presse se tiendront demain jeudi.
